Signup

The Velociti and Cropchain platforms are run as Software as a Service (SaaS). Users are required to subscribe to the platforms before gaining access. The first step to using the platform is to signup. The target audience for all the apps is companies that provide financial services and are looking to work with smallholder farmers or SMEs that work with smallholder farmers.

The signup process is very simple. Users simply need to access the Velociti website and click on Sign Up to fill the form shown on the screen below.

We have kept the form very short so companies can sign up within a very short time. All fields are required except the address. The fields are explained in the table below.

A default admin is created when a company signs up. This admin will be responsible for setting up the company later. The name of the admin is derived from the company name. For example. a company called Digiphy Limited will have the admin named as Digiphy Admin.

Field	Required?	Description
Company Name	Required	Registered legal name of the company. This name will need to match what is on the company's registration documents.
Company Type	Required	What is the primary service this company will be providing on the platform. The various types are defined here.
Citye	Required	In which city can this company be found. Mostly refers to the HQ if the company has multiple branches.
Is offtaker	Optional	Does this company buy from smallholder farmers and cooperatives? Note: there is no offtaker company type.
Address	Optional	This could either be the street address or postal address of the company.
Email	Required	Email of the company. This is used for signing in to the company's account.
Country	Required	In which country can this company be found. The main office, assuming there are branches.
Mobile	Required	Mobile number of either the company or the one setting up the company's account. This mobile is used for verifying the account after sign up.
Password	Required	Password for signing in to the company's account as the default admin.
Confirm Password	Required	Confirmation of the password entered earlier.
