Planting protocols are assigned to commodity groups to make it easier to monitor several commodities based on their groupings. Examples of such groups are cereals, legumes, vegetables and tree crops. These groups need to be defined by the super admin in the Cropchain Setup module.
To create a commodity group, the super admin will need to enter the following fields.
Field | Validation | Description |
---|---|---|
Name | Required | The name of the commodity group |
Clicking on a save button saves the details of the commodity group. From a list of already defined commodity groups, the super admin should be able to edit and delete. Deleting should not be allowed if the commodity group already has activities tied to it.
The following messages should be displayed during the management of commodity groups.
